ACY new terminal is ready passengers

After two years of construction and thousands of man hours the new terminal and Park Place garage are complete. The new terminal has wider hallways and large windows through the building that let in more natural light. Curbside check-in for select airlines, now will allow passengers get through check-in faster and with more TSA security areas the airport should not have delays due to TSA. The terminal has 10 gates and 9 of these gates are international ready. The new larger baggage claim areas on the first floor will let passengers get the baggage faster and has a new oversized baggage claim. Various restaurants and consecrations are available through the terminal such as Hudson News and Samuel Adams. The new terminal will enter operation on April 1, 2016 and the old terminal will be closed on April 2 to be phase 4 of the SJTA master plan to be able to handle 7 to 8 million passengers a year.
